Junk Mail Journals:Pamphlet Stitch Binding
Turn recycled tissue box or other cardboard and junk mail into a fun and functional art journal. Using junk mail of all kinds, including catalogs, we will create a journal utilizing a simple pamphlet stitch to sew the binding. We will use paint and collage to embellish the pages and create a palette for you to add your own art or collage.
If you have a tissue box to recycle, or a nice catalog, please bring it. Please wear clothes appropriate for painting.
All supplies will be provided and you are welcome to bring your own junk mail.
Tuesday, May 13, 5-8 p.m. at OffCenter Community Arts Project, 808 Park Ave SW, ABQ.
