Open Studio is the heart of OffCenter! Free access to art supplies, tools, and materials for all!
OffCenter’s studio space has a wide variety of tools and materials, free and available for you to use. Art making supplies for painting, drawing, collage, 3-D assemblage and sculpture, jewelry making, and fiber arts. We have sewing machines and lots of fabric. Our print studio is equipped for screen printing and block printing.
Come by to see what we have and make something new today!
Really: it’s all free and here for you to use!

Kids’ Open Studio
Tuesdays - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Kids (and their adults) are invited to join us for a weekly art-making party! Kids are welcome to explore the studio materials and work on projects of their own.
Free & open to everyone 18 and under; ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-school kiddos and homeschool groups welcome.

Quiet Studio
All-ages quieter studio time! If you find Open Studio overstimulating or overwhelming, try Quiet Studio time on Wednesday and Thursday mornings!
Free & open to everyone; ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Quiet Studio has a more limited capacity than our regular Open Studio hours, with some limitations on noise and tool use.
No large groups please. Quiet Studio is intended for individuals or small groups/families of 3 or less.
Groups
During open studio hours we welcome groups up to 4, including teachers and caregivers. We often reach studio capacity, and may ask your group to return at another time if the studio is full. Email us at info@offcenterarts.org to inquire about reserving a table for a small group. Table reservations not available at all hours.
Groups of 5 or more should arrange for private studio rental time:
Our 2024 standard rates are $75/hour for non-facilitated groups, and $100/hour for facilitated use for up to 10 participants, plus $10 per any additional participants. (We are often able to discount school groups or other non-profit organizations.)
