Join printmaker Adian Ricca Lucci for a fun introduction to monoprinting! Learn a quick and easy method for printmaking with an etching press!
Prints can be made in as little as five minutes, and every print is unique. Monotype printmaking is a process where artists add ink onto an acrylic plate, and pass them through a machine that adds enough pressure to transfer their designs onto a piece of paper. Since students will be able to make prints in a short amount of time, this process leaves a lot of room for experimentation. No prior printmaking experience or fine motor skills are necessary to participate in this workshop.
