Learn to Sew (Sewing Machine 101) - March

In this beginning sewing class, Alden Sobol will teach you all the basics of how to use a sewing machine and get you started on your first project - making a pin cushion. This queer-led class is, perfect for you if you’ve ever wanted to learn to sew using a sewing machine, but felt intimidated, or not known where to start. 

No sewing experience necessary! Sewing machines and all materials provided. (Or bring your own sewing machine if you prefer!)

Tiered Pricing: Free $0 / Base $10 / Core $20 / Supporter $40

Age policy: Unless otherwise specified ages 16+ are welcome to attend OffCenter classes independently. Students age 12 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) who stays with them for the duration of the class. We highly recommend that the accompanying adult register and participate in the class as well. Individual classes may have additional age or experience requirements. This class is for ages 12 and up.
