Monoprinting - September

from $0.00
sold out

Join printmaker Adrian Ricca Lucci for a fun introduction to monoprinting! Learn a quick and easy method for printmaking with an etching press!

Prints can be made in as little as five minutes, and every print is unique. Monotype printmaking is a process where artists add ink onto an acrylic plate, and pass them through a machine that adds enough pressure to transfer their designs onto a piece of paper. Since students will be able to make prints in a short amount of time, this process leaves a lot of room for experimentation. No prior printmaking experience or fine motor skills are necessary to participate in this workshop.

Tuesday, September 24, 6-8 p.m. at OffCenter Community Arts Project, 808 Park Ave SW, ABQ.

Tiered Pricing: Free $0 / Core $15 / Supporter$30

Why are there three prices? All of our classes are offered at a sliding scale, with a free option available to anyone that requests it. The base price is the "true" cost of the class OffCenter needs to cover paying our teachers and providing supplies and materials. If you are able to support at a higher level, paying the supporter price helps ensure we're able to continue offering a variety of classes and keep free spaces open for anyone that needs.

There are a limited number of free spots available online. If these are sold out, please email, call, or drop by the studio to sign up! Email info@offcenterarts.org.
