self defense with zimmy
Discover new strength and trust in your body through a combination of consent-informed partner work and solo martial arts practice. Each class will include self-defense techniques in combination with more traditional martial arts practice, as we collectively explore strength and tenderness. Classes will be trauma-informed, consent-centered, entirely challenge-by choice, and relatively gentle on the body (no mma fight rings here!) All participants are encouraged to be curious, gentle, and caring with themselves, and to talk to the instructor about any concerns. Come on in to move your body and make friends!
