We invite you to visit our Emerging Artist Co-op Gallery anytime between Noon-5pm (Tuesdays thru Fridays) or 10 am – 3 pm (Saturdays)!

The diverse array of artwork changes on a frequent basis with submissions from jewelry to paintings, sculpture, fine art wearables, recycled decor, upcycled clothing/accessories and more!

Emerging Artist Co-op Gallery

The vast majority of the work in our gallery is a part of OFFCenter’s Economic Development Program for our low-income, homeless or at-risk studio artists who are either emerging or re-emerging their artistic career. Our studio artists find inspiration from the donated Materials in our studio to each other or from our workshop instructors to create these unique, affordable, hand-crafted gifts and art. We mentor them through their artistic development, always encouraging the development of their self-identity through art-making and by learning new art-based business skills by maintaining inventory, learning self-pricing and contributing time, ideas and energy to: the open studio; OFFCenter’s Co-op gallery’s operations; and to OFFCenter’s programming by participating in our Emerging Artist Network bi-weekly meetings.

OFFCenter is dedicated to welcoming everyone to participate in all our public programming. ANY ARTIST who’d like to sell their artwork in our co-op gallery or exhibit in our non-juried exhibits is also invited and welcomed to do so. We do encourage any established artists to be a part of our community by volunteering their time by first making art side by side with our artists in our open studio, teach a workshop, or exhibit in our non-juried exhibits. If you’d like to sell your art, a portion of your art sales will go to support OFFCenter’s Economic Development programming. All selling prices are determined by the artist with 80% going directly to the artist, and 20% to support OFFCenter programming.

We also welcome donations of finished/collectible/anonymous artwork from which 100% of sales proceeds go to OFFCenter’s arts education programming in free workgroups in drawing/painting, writing, guitar/ukulele and occasional workshops in special techniques as well as our art-based business workshops.
